The Little Brown Jug is a traveling trophy between River Falls and Hudson. While the two rivals have been playing since 1899, "The Jug" trophy was established in 1953 with the first Jug Game victory going to the Wildcats.
The Jug, a simple glass water container that was left behind after a River Falls/Hudson skirmish, was initially meant to be returned the following year. It quickly became the most sought after victory on the schedule.
